With work on my book finished, I’ve had a bit of extra time to go see the sites. It’s funny, I’ve been here for about 6 months, and I have not done a lot of site seeing yet!
Me and my friends when and climbed the Nokogiri mountain range— the site of an ancient mine. The surface mining opened up many parts of the mountain into angled shafts and box canyons. Throughout the climb we had seen many statues and Buddhas placed in the grottoes and outcroppings of rock.
